Beyond Whatever Preface

Posted on Saturday, January 1, 2011 in Uncategorized

Beyond Whatever. I have had that title in my mind for so long I cannot even tell you when it first appeared, but it’s perfect.

Beyond “Whatever” that sense that “whatever” you or I want it’s okay.
Whatever we say is okay.
Whatever we think is okay.
Whatever we do is okay.

Beyond whatever means it’s not. I wish it was but it’s not. I would like it to be that you and I and everyone else could do whatever they wanted and it would be okay; but, it’s not.

There are always ramifications. What I do affects you. What you do affects me. What we do affects them. It’s inescapable.

We, you and I, have to do get BEYOND, beyond “whatever” and accept that there is more to life than what we want when we want it and why we want it.

Why?

I wish I didn’t have to say this; some of you will be offended. I didn’t make up the rules. God did.

Here’s the good and the bad of it: God made us. We are created by God. Our Creator can create us, maintain us or destroy us. That’s a fact. So, fear God and do what God tells you because God knows us to the core of our being and “God will judge everything people do. That includes everything they try to hide. He’ll judge everything, whether it’s good or evil.” (Eccl 12:14 NIRV)

We can lie to ourselves, we can lie to others, we can compellingly convince everyone, everyone, that is, but God.

God knows us to the core of our beings.

Why write this book? Because God told me to and because no one can say it just like me.
