Today I received a text intended for someone else:

“im sorry i know it doesnt matter to you , its juss i dont have anyone to talk too . soo i juss wanna let it out . [The guy’s name] im sorry for whatver i did to make you unhappy , im sorry if i ever hurt you in any type of way . i love you tooo much too ever walk away from you </3 itss sooo hard to not love you . idint know you had this side to you , i was  alwayss there for you … i wass theree when you cryed , i was there all the times you hurt . i really tryed to alwayss be there for you </3 im sorry . thankyou for atleast loving me once back then :”(  & thankss for atleast pretending to love me 3 dayss ago, cause i actually did believe you </3 but juss know as hard as i try too , ill never forget you & ill never ever stop loving you </3”

Talking to a friend of mine this week I was reminded of the value of prayer.

My friend did not previously choose to pray.

Since she began choosing to pray “Please, God help me…” on a daily basis she said her days on the whole have gone better.

It might sound weird, but as I have chosen to pray I have found it easier and easier to include brief conversations with God throughout my day.

-       Thank you…

-       I’m sorry…

Perhaps you have not chosen to connect with God.

It’s funny when I hear family and friends sing the jingles of commercials.

I never pay attention to commercials, but I remember from my childhood as clear as if I saw it today: “You’re in good hands with Allstate.”

Allstate Insurance Company has a brilliant, memorable slogan.  I’m sure “You’re in good hands with Allstate” attracted many customers.  Whether or not they keep them is up to the agents and customer service, but the marketing department got it right.

Wouldn’t you like to believe and trust God with that same confidence?  “You’re in good hands with God.”
